March 2014 – Dirty Blonde Arrives in Brighton

On Thursday 27th March, after a lot of hard work from the Eclectic team, the first of our new concept Dirty Blonde was revealed to the people of Brighton. Located on the site of the former Madame Geisha venue in Brighton’s buzzing East Street, the New York-inspired bar and restaurant, is set to bring an injection of the glamour and decadence of the Gatsby era to Brighton with its unique pawn shop-cum-bar-cum-restaurant fusion.

From the outside Dirty Blonde is a pawn broker’s shop, with everything from cameras to perfume bottles to jewellery available for sale or trade. But glimpse beyond the subtle viewing panels and the real identity of the “shop” becomes apparent as the 320-capacity bar and restaurant beyond reveals itself.

After dark, the pawn shop becomes a meet-and-greet area before drinkers and diners are whisked away to immerse themselves into the delicious decadence of Gatsby’s era as the fancy food and vintage-style drinks continue to flow until 3am. As for music, a classic music mix from resident and big-name DJs will be complemented by a regular dose of live performances.
