We are again very proud to announce the acquisition of Brighton’s Japanese-themed late-night bar, Madame Geisha. The 300-capacity bar, in the town’s fashionable East Street boutique quarter, is open six nights a week until 3.00am and has earned an enviable reputation for its innovative, early-week student nights and solid weekend trading. Madame Geisha is situated next to our Polynesian-themed nightclub Lola Lo, which was the first Lola to open in a brand which has now grown to 8 in total.
“Madame Geisha is a highly successful venue and will continue to operate in its present form”, said Eclectic chief executive, Reuben Harley. “The bar is a perfect fit with our existing venues, most especially with our Japanese-themed bar brand, Sakura, in Manchester and Reading. “We are, as always, acquisitive, and the purchase of Madame Geisha reinforces our stated policy to expand, ideally at the rate of around three sites a year. We always on the lookout for existing businesses to add to our estate, since, while we will continue to expand organically, we also see acquisition as a major route to growth.”
