The vibrant and colourful south-coast seaside resort of Brighton has been chosen as home to the first of our new brand, the intimate South Pacific Tiki bar and club ‘Lola Lo’.
We have spent almost two years developing the concept, alongside interior designer Jamie Wilson. Lola Lo re-creates an authentic Polynesian vibe, with rustic décor featuring bamboo, hand-carved woods, evocative lighting, private booths and a unique dance floor.
Our aim is to immerse our guests in the atmosphere and flavour of a tropical oasis” says Eclectic’s operations director, Lee Nicolson. “The pure essence of care-free joie de vivre is what Lola Lo is all about.”
Lola Lo will trade six days a week 8pm until 3am, offering a variety of student-branded nights such as the legendary Fat Poppadaddys indie event mid-week, complemented at weekend sessions with household-name, Brighton-based DJs and – something a little unusual - live percussionists. Our music policy will feature the intoxicating blend of credible club classics and contemporary beats
Our mixologists have perfected some of the most flamboyant classic and bespoke cocktails you’ll ever encounter” says Nicolson, “and Lola Lo will stock only the finest of spirits, including 15 speciality rums, as well as the world’s most famous champagnes.” Brands on offer will include Havana Club and Myers’s Rum, and premium vodkas including Belvedere.

We are very proud to announce that the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is our charity of choice for 2010.
The first benefit – a dinner and charity auction for Eclectic’s suppliers and friends - was held in March at Embargo59 where £10,000 was raised for the cause.
In April, our company’s Managing Director, Reuben Harley, and Marketing Manager, Nikki Ritchie, ran the London Marathon and raised a further £2,541.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK's only national charity dealing with all aspects of this debilitating condition, funding research to treat the symptoms of CF and to discover effective treatments. The Trust also aims to ensure appropriate healthcare for those with Cystic Fibrosis and provides information, advice and support to people with CF and their families across the UK.
Reuben Harley said “Although running the London Marathon might be seen as a challenge, it is nothing compared to the challenges faced daily by sufferers from this crippling disease. Nikki and I were determined to make a difference and completed the course and achieved the maximum promised by our sponsors!”
Sarah Guthrie, fundraising director of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust said “The event at Embargo59 was a huge success and we are thrilled that Eclectic is continuing to support the trust by taking part in the London Marathon.
